Sarah Reed
Program Director, Volunteer Manager, and Elementary Lead Academy Coordinator
Growing up in Cyprus and Sweden, Sarah moved to the United States in 2008, bringing a diverse cultural background to her work. She graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s in Journalism, specializing in Public Relations, and a minor in Creative Writing. While walking on SDSU’s campus, someone handed her a packet of ramen and an invitation to church. She decided to attend alone, but a kind woman invited her to sit with her—a simple and kind gesture that led into a one-on-one discipleship relationship, ultimately leading her to Christ.
She now shares her story through a christian poetry book, using her platform of over 100,000 followers to reach others with the hope of the Gospel. Her work has been featured in productions such as SDSU’s Don Powell Theatre, raising funds for San Diego Youth Services.
