EILEEN SANTIAGO-SLADE

Eileen Santiago- Slade was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in the inner city of Rochester, New York.  In Rochester she was very involved in her community, working closely with organizations like Teen Empowerment, PRYD and Ibero. Through these organizations she developed a love of serving others. Eileen attended St. John Fisher College for three years working towards a degree in sociology and communication. She then became a member of Senoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority Inc.  In 2013, she moved to San Diego, CA on a leap of faith. It was here she came to know the lord and continuously strives to develop an intimate relationship with him. By faith, love and life experience she has set forth to pursue her passion of working with young people.  She looks forward to bringing love, leadership, mentorship and god into the lives of the young people she is blessed to work with through Hope Leadership. During her free time she enjoys hiking, jogging and watching Dr. Phil.  She is looking forward to going back to school this year to pursue a degree in psychology.
