Anna Younes

From a young age Anna has always had a heart for people that have been overlooked by society and has been willing to go to extraordinary lengths to help them. She is a pastor’s daughter who was raised in Melbourne, Florida. On her first mission trip to Mexico in 6th grade, she heard the Lord speak to her through Jeremiah 1 and call her one day to full-time ministry.

After high school, Anna got her degree in Theology at Calvary Chapel Bible College and studied abroad in Peru and Japan. After graduation she was blessed to serve as the Dean of Women at the CC Bible College campus in Jerusalem, Israel. She returned to Florida and spent the next five years doing prison ministry in men and women’s prisons around the state.

In 2016 Anna spent a few months in Lesvos, Greece working in a refugee camp with people that had escaped war-torn countries. Then God opened the door for her to spend a year as a missionary in the Middle East, where she learned Arabic and taught English to Syrian and Iraqi refugees.

After returning from the mission field Anna married Kyle, the love of her life, and they both started working at HLA. They love doing ministry together and have made it their life mission to share the love of Jesus wherever they go. Anna spends her free time playing with her cat Kingston, exploring San Diego, and dreaming about future trips.
