Elementary Academy Assistant
From a young age, Alexander has been passionate about education and working with youth. Growing up in San Diego, California, in a family of hardworking first-generation immigrants, he witnessed the challenges and rewards of perseverance. This background has fueled his dedication to serving and uplifting the community. At sixteen, Alexander began teaching Sunday school, which later expanded into preaching for youth ministry, nurturing a love for guiding the next generation.
Currently in his fourth year as a Political Science major at SDSU, Alexander is pursuing a path to law school, driven by a commitment to set a new standard of professional excellence. He aims to be the start of a generation of individuals who meet their goals and inspire others to achieve their own aspirations.
At HLA, Alexander strives to create a classroom environment where integrity, character, and goodness are modeled, providing students with positive role models to look up to. He hopes to foster a space where students feel encouraged to grow and become the best versions of themselves.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Alexander continues to connect with diverse communities. Outside of work, he competes in SDSU’s Mock Trial team, holding the record as the most decorated member and showcasing his dedication and skill in simulated court competitions.
In the years to come, Alexander hopes to utilize his talents in teaching and public speaking to impact students of all ages at HLA. As he progresses through his legal career, he looks forward to serving the organization in new capacities, blending his passion for law with his commitment to education and community service.
