Madison Nelson was born in Southern California and raised in Northern California in a small town called Morgan Hill. She moved to San Diego in 2012 with her family and has lived here since. She currently attends Palomar College working towards a bachelors degree. Madison’s passion for working with kids started when she was 12 volunteering in children’s ministry and KidsGames. In 2016 she started Volunteering in the Middle School ministry at North Coast Calvary Chapel and still continues to lead the same group of girls today. Her passion for youth is what lead her to her position at HLA as an Academy Coordinator September of 2017. Outside of work and school Madison enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, drawing,  painting, playing guitar and many other instruments.
